On Wednesday 14th December as requested the salon will be open until 9pm, (yes you read right) and we will be having Prosecco, Coffee and and other drinks, Panettone and cakes as well as a snowman hiding in shop for the kids competition. Please just pop on! :D

First Christmas Decoration :D

First of many to come - Put the tree outside the shop up the other day. Put the biggest lights I could find around and looks good :) Sometime this week  indoor tree will be up full of chocolates again (watch out parents you may be dragged in like last year. Chocolates were gone within a week!)

General Information Ive been in the building trade since i was 15yrs old working with family or friends on weekends. I picked up many skill along the way so when i left school i went to college to gain more skills, where at the end i received NVQ 1, 2, also when working on site i achieved an NVQ 3 with NHBC. nhf Hairdressing Event

Attended the National Hairdressers' Federation competition event in Southampton on Sunday 20th November! Was a great day out and some very strong talent espeically amongst the female catergories. I entered for the men and women hair cut and style (Dino) and was very nervous but was great up on stage and shall be looking forward to the next one in Newport!

Rememberence Day 2011

As custodians of Remembrance, The Royal British Legion through the Poppy Appeal, provides ways for commemorating those who are no longer with us. Each November, Fields of Remembrance around the UK display crosses containing personal dedications sent to us by our supporters. This year the Legion will create Fields of Remembrance at 4 different locations: Westminster, Wootton Bassett, Belfast and Cardiff.

CHARITY!

Charity fundraising event in aid of Macmillan cancer support and St Peter's Hospice - Web page. We were also mentioned in the Evening Post. The event took place on Saturday 6th August at Kingswood Rugby Club. It was an amazing day, I (Dino) was on the BBQ all day :D and helped set up the event as well as designing and priting all promotion and advertisement material!

Cut for 'Don Dewey'

As I (Dino) have got in to the swing of things in only a couple months using all told I thought a photograph or two are in order :D and also as it is early days I thought I would keep a track record of my progress!

New toy

Got myself a (I know shiny) new clipper used it for the first time on my friend Don Dewey and is very nice! I have used Wahl tools for the past few months (as I am an amateur still - Dino) and would recommend them if you would like something user friendly and easy to maintain (opening and cleaning all the insides and blades etc).

Appreciated

Even the smaller things are appreciated in the shop. Had a fella outside checking out the metal sculpture for at least 15 minutes :) Happy to put a smile on any ones face that enters or passes by the shop!
